We are all enjoying the last few weeks of the summer holidays, and we are continuing our cool summer treat trend with another CBD recipe that will keep you cool and calm while you enjoy the summer sun.
Enjoying a popsicle on a hot day is a nostalgic feeling that brings us back to our youth. As an adult, we can enjoy a more sophisticated version and in this case, a version that contains your desired dose of CBD. In this recipe, we use our Fusion CBD Coffee blends, but we have also included an option to add a few drops of CBD oil as well. We suggest making these in the morning so you can indulge when you get home from work. After a long, hot day, CBD in the form of a tasty popsicle has never sounded so good!
- 1 can full fat coconut milk
- 6 large, soft pitted medjool dates (if they are dry or hard, soak for 5 minutes in hot water and drain)
- 1 cup of brewed and chilled CBD Coffee blend (we recommend our Adventure blend)
- Full Spectrum CBD Oil, 1 drop per mold (optional)
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract (optional)
- pinch of salt (optional)
In a blender, blend all ingredients together until smooth. Taste the mixture and adjust to taste – add ingredients to balance it as you desire. Keep a little extra chilled coffee on hand in case you want your popsicle to taste stronger. Pour the mixture in your popsicle molds. You can get creative with them and add other items like cut up fruit, chocolate chips, etc.. Freeze for about 30 minutes and then add the popsicle sticks. Freeze until firm.
If you’re feeling like an extra treat, drizzle some melted chocolate on top, add some sprinkles or coconut flakes and enjoy!
